Well, hey there! Let’s talk about this here… uh… women’s rugby schedule thing. You know, the games them gals play. Tough as nails, they are. I saw some of it on the TV once. Lordy, they were smackin’ into each other somethin’ fierce!
So, this here women’s rugby schedule, it’s a bit of a mess for an old gal like me to figure out. Seems like they got games all over the place and on different channels. Drives me nuts, it does! Why can’t they just put it all on one channel and be done with it?
First off, they got this big thing in Paris, France. Fancy place, that Paris. Never been there myself. Anyway, they call it the… uh… Paris Olympics, I think. Yeah, that’s it. Olympics. Happens this summer, in July. From the 24th to the 30th, they say. You wanna watch it? They say it’ll be on NBC, CNBC and maybe even E! I watch my stories on NBC sometimes. Good channel that one.
Then there’s this other rugby stuff… the Premiership Women’s Rugby, they call it. Sounds fancy, huh? Well, it’s on somethin’ called TNT Sports and Discovery+. Never heard of them channels ’til the other day. My grandson, he knows all about this stuff. He says you can watch it on your phone or your TV. Imagine that! Watchin’ rugby on a little phone.
- TNT Sports, they got a bunch of games, more than 20 they say. Every weekend they have one game and when they get down to the final four teams then they have those games too. And then that big championship game, the final, they show that too!
- And then there’s this Discovery+. My grandson says it’s like the internet, but for TV shows. I don’t get it, but he says it has all the rugby games too.
Now, them England gals, they got their own schedule, seems like. They’re playin’ all sorts of teams. Italy, Wales, Ireland… I tell ya, those girls get around. My grandson showed me this website… “Where’s the Match,” it’s called. Clever name, I guess. It tells you when and where the games are. Handy for folks who ain’t got the brains to remember it all. Like me.
England’s ladies have games in March and April of next year, 2025. That’s a long ways away. They play Italy on Sunday, March 23rd, then Wales on Saturday, March 29th and then Ireland on Saturday, April 12th. My grandson says you can see it all on that “Where’s the Match” website. He showed me, it’s got all the times and channels. But I still can’t keep it all straight.
Oh, and there’s somethin’ called the Autumn Nations Series. That’s on TNT Sports and Discovery+ too. Just like the Premiership games. Too many games, if you ask me. How’s a body supposed to keep track of it all?
And then… get this… there’s somethin’ called rugby sevens at the Paris Olympics. That’s different from regular rugby, I guess. Faster, they say. More runnin’ around. My head’s spinnin’ just thinkin’ about it. You can watch that on NBC, USA Network, CNBC, and E! too. And if you ain’t got cable, you can watch it on somethin’ called Fubo, Peacock, and some websites. Too much choice, if you ask me!
So, there you have it. The women’s rugby schedule, as best as this old gal can figure it out. It’s a lot to take in, I tell ya. But them gals are tough, and they put on a good show. Even if I can’t always figure out what channel they’re on!
And if you wanna watch some of it online, that Peacock thing, they have live rugby too. Seems like everyone wants to watch these gals now. My grandson says it’s because they’re really good. I guess he’s right, for they do look strong.
Now, don’t ask me to explain the rules or anything. I just watch ’em run and smack into each other. That’s entertainment enough for me. And if you wanna know more, ask my grandson. He knows everything, that boy.
But don’t you go betting on these games now, unless you know what you’re doing! Gambling is a sin, you know. Just enjoy the games, that’s what I say. It’s good to see them gals being active and strong.
So there it is, all jumbled up I guess, but that’s all I know about it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got to go make some supper. All this talk about rugby made me hungry!
