Okay, so I’ve been getting into tennis lately, and I wanted to find a good spot to play here in Holly Springs, NC. I heard about this place called The Club at Sunset from a neighbor, so I figured I’d give it a shot. Turns out, it’s part of this Sunset Tennis Academy thing. They’ve got a whole bunch of programs and lessons, but I just wanted to hit some balls around, you know?
First off, I went to their courts. They have six of them, and they’re all lit up, which is great ’cause I like to play in the evenings when it’s cooler. The courts are in a park, so it’s a pretty chill vibe. I saw a few people taking lessons, and they seemed to be having a good time. There’s also a pro shop there, which is handy. I didn’t need anything, but it’s good to know they have equipment and can string your racquet if you need it.

We had a blast, even though I’m still pretty much a beginner. It’s a nice place to play, and I can see why people like it. I might even consider taking some lessons there in the future.
Oh, and I also heard something about a pool and waterslides, but I didn’t check those out. Apparently, they have a “Junior Olympic pool” that’s heated part of the year. Sounds fancy. And two big waterslides, 165 feet long! I guess it’s more than just a tennis club. They call it the Sunset Ridge Racquet & Swim Club, I think.

Anyway, if you’re looking for a place to play tennis in Holly Springs, The Club at Sunset seems like a solid option. It’s got good courts, a nice atmosphere, and they offer lessons if you’re into that. Plus, there’s the whole pool and waterslide thing if you want to make a day of it. I’ll definitely be back.
