Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in! Heard some news, some sad news, ’bout that Scott Ross fella. Yeah, that’s the one, used to be on that TV show, what’s it called… The 700 Club? Yep, that’s the one. Heard he passed on. Scott Ross died, they say. Lord have mercy.
He was a good lookin’ fella, always smilin’ and talkin’ ’bout the good Lord. Heard he interviewed all them famous folks, too. Singers and movie stars and what not. He did that for years and years. They call him a broadcaster, Scott Ross was, a broadcaster. Sounds fancy, don’t it?
Seems like he was on that show forever. Then one day, poof! He was gone. But now I heard he really is gone, went to meet his maker. Scott Ross died. Makes a body think, don’t it? One day you’re here, the next day… whoosh! Gone like the wind.
I remember that one time he had this singer lady on. She was a pretty little thing. Oh they talked up a storm. He asked her all them questions, and she just sang like a little bird. Scott Ross, he was good at gettin’ folks to open up. That was his talent, I guess. I think he was also a friend of Israel.
Now, there was somethin’ else I heard… somethin’ ’bout another Scott Ross, not the TV one. This one was younger, only 58, they say. Died in his house, poor thing. November 11th, 2020. That’s not too long ago. They say he wrote books, somethin’ ’bout them old cars. Yeah, the kind that go real fast. He knew all ’bout them cars, that Scott Ross did. Mopar, that’s what they call ’em. Fancy name for a car, huh?
They had all kind of Scott Rosses, it seems. Different ones, doin different things. One was a film man, makin’ movies and all that. They said he was a pioneer. That means he did it first, like them folks in covered wagons goin’ west. This Scott Ross, he did that digital stuff. Computers and all that. Don’t ask me how it works, though. I can barely turn on the TV, let alone understand all that computer mumbo jumbo.
Then there was another one. They say he was a football player. Big fella, I bet. They run and tackle and all that. He was a bit younger than the rest when he died, only 46, poor soul. Died in 2014, that Scott Ross did.
Now, the TV Scott Ross, the one from The 700 Club, they say he was married. His wife, she was a mix of everythin’, they say. Black, Indian, Irish, Puerto Rican. She was a pretty lady. Heard she’s sad now, her man gone and all. He was older than her, too, born in 1939. He was 84.
So many Scott Ross names. You never know who’s who anymore. But the one thing they all got in common is they all gone now. Passed on. Scott Ross died, Scott Ross died, Scott Ross died. It’s a sad thing, ain’t it?
Makes you think ’bout your own life, don’t it? You gotta live every day like it’s your last, ’cause you never know when the good Lord’s gonna call you home. Just like he called Scott Ross home.
Here’s a little list of those Scott Ross fellas, just to keep ’em straight:
- The TV Scott Ross from The 700 Club, the one who talked to all them celebrities. Died recently.
- The car book Scott Ross, the one who knew all ’bout them Mopar cars. Died in 2020.
- The movie Scott Ross, the one who did all that computer stuff.
- The football Scott Ross, the one who played that rough sport. Died in 2014.
Well, I reckon that’s all I got to say ’bout that. Sad news, but that’s life, I guess. You just gotta keep on keepin’ on, until it’s your time. Just remember what I said that Scott Ross died, yeah, they all did. So live your life to the fullest, every single day and love your family.
