Rugby Players Naked: The Controversial Pictures Everyone Is Talking About, See Them Here!
I saw this project that has been running since 2017. They invite rugby players to take some naked photos, and then make a calendar for sale. It’s quite interesting, so I decided to give it a try.
First, I looked for some rugby teams nearby. I found out that there were teams in Cardiff, Northampton, Leeds, Bristol, and Glasgow. I chose Cardiff because it’s closer to me. I contacted them and explained what I wanted to do. They were quite open to it. They told me that over 85 players joined this project in 2020. It’s a big event!
Then, I started preparing for the photoshoot. I gathered some props, like rugby balls, towels, and shower stuff. The idea was to make it look natural and fun, like they were just having a good time after a game.
On the day of the shoot, I met the players at their training field. They were all shapes and sizes, around 50 guys. It was a bit awkward at first, but I tried to make them feel comfortable. I showed them some previous photos from the project to give them an idea. They got the hang of it quickly.
We did different scenes, like them in the shower, in a team huddle, and just hanging out. I asked them to just act naturally, as if they were just with their teammates. They were cool, and made some jokes. I took lots of photos. And I tried to capture different angles and expressions.
After the shoot, I went through thousands of photos. It was tough to choose the best ones. I wanted to show their positive masculinity, body image, and diversity. Finally, I selected the photos that I felt best represented the project.
The last step was to make the calendar. I designed the layout and added some colors to make it more attractive. I also wrote some captions to go with the photos. The calendar was finally ready. It was a lot of work, but I enjoyed it a lot. I feel this is a meaningful project, and I hope people will like it.
