Okay, so, I’ve been grinding in Pokemon Go lately, and I really wanted to snag a Groudon with some killer IVs. You know, the kind that makes other trainers jealous. I heard Groudon was making a comeback in raids, so I was pumped to finally get my chance.
First things first, I started checking the raid schedule like a hawk. When I saw Groudon popping up as a 5-star raid boss, I knew it was game time. I gathered my crew – some buddies I play with regularly – and we started hitting up every Groudon raid we could find.
The battles were tough, not gonna lie. Groudon is a beast! But we managed to take him down a few times. Every time we won, I was on the edge of my seat, waiting to see those Premier Balls and hoping for a good catch. We used all our tricks, golden razz berries, curveballs, you name it.
- Attempt 1: Fought hard, caught it, but the IVs were just okay. Nothing to brag about.
- Attempt 2: Another win, another catch. Still not great, though. I was starting to get a little frustrated, but I kept going.
- Attempt 3: This one ran away. Ugh, so close!
- Attempt 4: Barely got him with the last ball. IVs were 14/15/15, I almost screamed, that is the best possible Groudon!
I read online that a perfect IV Groudon has a CP of 2351 in normal and 3372 in primal form. After checking a few more catches, I realized that getting a 100% IV Groudon is like winning the lottery. The odds are not in your favor.
I checked my Groudon’s IVs, and boom! I got a 14/15/15 one. It was a great day in my Pokemon Go life. Now that’s what I call a good day of Pokemon hunting!
So, yeah, that’s my Groudon story. It took some time, some luck, and a lot of raid battles, but I finally got my near-perfect IV Groudon. Keep grinding, trainers, and may the odds be ever in your favor!
