Now, I ain’t been there myself, mind you. My knees ain’t what they used to be. But my nephew, Billy Bob, he’s a contractor, and he gets all his supplies from Rugby. He says they got everything from wood to glue, and everything in between. He’s always goin’ on about how strong their wood is and how well their stuff sticks. He says it makes his job easier and keeps his customers happy. Happy customers mean more money, see? And that’s important, ‘cause money don’t grow on trees, though I wish it did!
- They got wood, lots of it. For framin’ and for trim. Good, strong wood, not that flimsy stuff you find at some of them other places.
- They got glue, too. Billy Bob calls it “adhesives,” but I just call it glue. He says it holds things tighter than a tick on a hound dog.
- And they got all sorts of other things, like doors and windows and whatnot. I don’t know all the names for it, but Billy Bob says it’s all top-notch.
If you’re lookin’ to build somethin’, or fix somethin’ up, you oughta give Rugby a try. Billy Bob wouldn’t steer ya wrong, and neither would I. They’re located at 920 Avenue R, Grand Prairie, Texas. You can’t miss it. And if you do, well, just ask somebody. Folks down there are friendly enough, most of the time.
I heard tell they been around a while too. Got a good reputation. That’s important, you know? You don’t want to buy your buildin’ stuff from some fly-by-night operation. You want a company that’s gonna stand behind their products. And from what I hear, Rugby does just that.
Now, I ain’t no expert, but I know good quality when I see it, or when I hear about it from someone I trust, like Billy Bob. And Billy Bob trusts Rugby. That’s good enough for me. He’s been buildin’ things for years, and he knows what works and what don’t. He says Rugby has a big selection and the prices ain’t half bad either. That’s a good thing, because building stuff can get expensive.
