Okay, let’s talk about the meter box. I decided to install a new one in my house, so here’s how the whole thing went down.

And guess what? Everything worked! The lights came on, the appliances started humming, and the new meter was spinning away. I felt a huge sense of accomplishment. I actually did it, and it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be.
Now, I’m not saying everyone should go out and install their own meter box. If you’re not comfortable with electrical stuff, it’s always best to call a pro. But for me, it was a fun little project, and I learned a lot in the process. Plus, I saved some money by doing it myself.
The distributor accepted my application, It was pretty smooth sailing. My new meter box is up and running, and I’m feeling pretty good about the whole thing. I had to work with a skilled electrician to guide me through the process.
