Man, I’ve been meaning to get my hands on the new Italy rugby uniform. It’s been on my mind for a while now, so I figured it was time to just go for it.
I started by looking up what was out there. This season’s stuff is made by Macron, and I gotta say, they’ve got some good-looking gear. I saw some mentions of a replica jersey that’s supposed to be celebrating 200 years of rugby. That sounded pretty cool, so I dug a little deeper.
It looks like they have the usual stuff – jerseys, shorts, hoodies. You know, the works. But they also talked about this special jersey for the 2024/25 season. It’s made from cotton, which I thought was a bit unusual for a sports jersey, but hey, maybe it’s super comfy.
I looked around for where to get it. There were a few places with the stuff, and one even had a section for older gear at a discount. But I wanted the new stuff, so I kept looking.
I found the official Six Nations store, and they had the jersey, along with a bunch of other Italy rugby stuff. I read through some of the descriptions, and they really hype it up, talking about it being a “fusion of sport and art.” Okay, sure, it’s a nice-looking jersey, but let’s not get carried away.
Anyway, I finally just decided to pull the trigger and order it from the official store. It wasn’t cheap, but I figured, what the heck, I’m a fan, and it’s a special edition.

Guess what, folks? The jersey finally arrived! It took a little while, but it was worth the wait.
First impression? This thing is soft. I mean, really soft. That cotton material is no joke. It feels way more comfortable than any other sports jersey I own.
The design is pretty slick too. It’s got this subtle pattern on it that you don’t really notice until you get up close. And the colors are great – that classic Italy blue with some nice white accents.
I tried it on, and it fits perfectly. Not too tight, not too loose. I can definitely see myself wearing this all the time, not just for games.
