So, the other day, I was staring at my box trailer, wondering about something that had never crossed my mind before. Does the inside of a box trailer have metal? Sounds simple, right? Well, it turned into a little adventure.
First, I walked around the trailer, giving it a good once-over. It’s just a regular box trailer, the kind you see hauling stuff everywhere. I tapped on the sides, feeling the material. It felt pretty sturdy, but that didn’t really answer my question.
- I decided to do what any curious person would – I grabbed a flashlight and opened the back doors of the trailer.
- Peering inside, the first thing I noticed was the walls. They looked like they could be made of some type of metal, probably aluminum or steel. I ran my hand along the surface, and yep, it felt cold and metallic.
- Then, I looked up at the roof. It was a bit harder to tell, but after shining my flashlight on it, it seemed like it was also made of metal, probably the same stuff as the walls.
To be sure, I grabbed a small magnet from my toolbox. I stuck it to the walls and the roof – sure enough, it stuck like glue. That confirmed it for me – there was definitely metal inside.
Conclusion
So there you have it. After a little bit of exploring and a simple test, I found out that the inside of a box trailer does indeed have metal. It makes sense, really – you need something strong and durable to protect whatever you’re hauling. I guess sometimes the most obvious things can be the most interesting to investigate!
