How To Watch OSAA Girls Basketball: Your Guide To Streaming and TV Listings!
Okay, so, today I wanted to share my little adventure with the OSAA girls basketball stuff. It all started when I was trying to catch some games online. I really wanted to see how these high school girls were balling out, you know?
First, I went straight to the OSAA website. I was clicking around, trying to find where I could watch the games. They had all these sections: Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, and even other sports like swimming and wrestling. It was a bit overwhelming, to be honest.
Then I noticed something about broadcasts. It said that the outlets airing the games wouldn’t have to pay a rights fee. That was interesting. And guess what? The big games, like the Girls and Boys 3rd Place and Championship games, were going to be live on Portland’s CW. That’s cool for people in Portland, but I needed something online.
So, I kept digging. I saw that you could stream the games on the NFHS Network. Apparently, it’s got live and on-demand stuff for Oregon School Activities Association sports. I was like, “Alright, this could be it!” But then, bam, there’s a subscription fee. I think it was around $10.99 a month or $69.99 for the whole year. Not too bad, but still, I wanted to see if there were other options.
- Visited the OSAA official website.
- Found out about the broadcast details.
- Discovered the NFHS Network for streaming.
- Checked out the subscription fees.
I also found some stuff about scores and matchups on this other site, SBLive. It had all the brackets for the different classes, like 6A, 5A, and so on. It was pretty handy to see who was playing who and all that.
I stumbled upon another thing called BoxCast. Seems like they do high school sports streaming, too, but mostly for Ohio, not Oregon. Oh well, worth a shot.
At this point, I was jumping between the OSAA site, NFHS Network, and SBLive, trying to piece everything together. It felt a little all over the place, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
The Final Score
So, after all that clicking and searching, I finally managed to catch some games on the NFHS Network. I ended up just biting the bullet and getting a subscription. The quality was pretty good, and it was awesome to see these young athletes giving it their all. Plus, I could watch the games whenever I wanted, which was a big plus.
Overall, it was a bit of a journey to figure out how to watch OSAA girls basketball, but it was totally worth it. If you’re into high school sports, I definitely recommend checking it out. Just be prepared to do a little digging to find what you need!
