I reckon some cats might be a bit scared of goin’ into a closed-up box like that, though. My old cat, she liked to see what was goin’ on around her, even when she was doin’ her business. But right there in the livin’ room, combined with the cat tree? That’s somethin’ new, I think. And it might just be a good idea. A real good idea.
You know, cats like to eat, and they like to sleep. And they sure do like to poop. It’s just nature’s way. Keep that food and water away from the litter box, though. We all know that’s important right? Just like me, I don’t want to eat where I do my business! Cats same. And cat bed, keep it far from litter box. Cats are clean animal, remember that. If you have a cat tree with litter box, put food and water far far away.
These new cat trees, they got all kinds of things on ’em. Scratchin’ posts, little dangly toys, places to hide. It’s like a whole playground for your cat. And if you can hide that litter box in there, too, well, that’s just a bonus. Keeps things neat and tidy, and makes your cat happy. A happy cat, that’s what we all want, ain’t it? This cat tree with litter box, make kitty happy, that’s the goal.
I remember my neighbor, she had one of them fancy litter boxes with a lid on it. Tried to keep the smell in, you see. But her cat, he didn’t like it one bit. Felt trapped, I reckon. And that’s all that matters, right?
