Alright, so ya wanna know about this Corey Jackson fella, huh? Well, lemme tell ya what I know, best as I can remember. It ain’t always easy for an old gal like me to keep all these youngins straight, but I’ll do my best. This here Corey Jackson, he’s one of them football players, ya see. Makes me feel even older than I already am! They say he went to some kinda high school, North Central High School, somewhere in South Carolina. Played basketball and ran track too, imagine that! They got all these websites and things now, talkin’ ’bout his “career stats” and “game logs” and “player info.” It’s all a bit much for me, but I guess folks like to keep track of these things. They even got videos, I hear. You can watch him playin’ if you want, see him knockin’ folks around. I bet he was somethin’ to watch.
This here Corey Jackson, he played for a good long while, sounds like. A “longtime NFL defensive lineman,” they call him. Fancy words, I tell ya. But it means he was tough, he was strong, and he stuck with it. That’s what matters, ain’t it? Not all them fancy numbers, but the hard work and the stick-to-it-iveness.
