Alright, let’s talk about this Franklin football stuff, you know, the balls and gear and all that. My grandkid, that little rascal, he’s always yappin’ about it. So I figured, let me see what all the fuss is about.
First off, they got all sorts of balls. Big ones, small ones, some for the little tykes, some for the bigger fellas. They say some are good for the beach, can you believe that? Beach football! Back in my day, we just used whatever we could find, even a rolled-up sock if we had to. But these Franklin balls, they look fancy, I gotta say. They got these playbooks with ’em too, little pictures showing you how to throw and catch. My grandkid, he pretends he understands it all, bless his heart.
- Different sizes of footballs: They got ‘em for everyone, from the little guys to the big ones.
- Footballs with playbooks: Fancy little books with pictures, teachin’ the young’uns how to play.
- Footballs for different places: Even for the beach, can you imagine? Who plays football on the beach?
Then there’s the gear, oh my! Gloves, helmets, shoulder pads… makes them kids look like little spacemen. They got these gloves with the NFL teams on ‘em. My grandkid, he wants the ones with the shiny stars, says they make him run faster. I tell him, “It ain’t the gloves, boy, it’s the heart!” But he don’t listen, kids these days.
I saw these helmets too, all shiny and hard. Good, I say, keep them little heads safe. Back in my day, we just toughed it out, got a few bumps and bruises, no big deal. But times are different, I guess. And these shoulder pads, they make the kids look so big and strong. They got all sizes, even for the little peanuts. It’s like they’re gettin’ ready for war, not just a game.
Franklin, that’s the name they keep sayin’. Seems like they make everything a kid needs to play football. My grandkid, he’s got a whole closet full of their stuff. Jerseys, uniforms… he even got a face mask, the silly thing. Looks like a little bandit, I tell ya. He says it’s the same stuff the pros wear. Well, I don’t know about that, but it sure looks expensive.
And you know what else? You can get this stuff everywhere now. Target, online… they even bring it right to your door, like magic! Back in my day, you had to go to the store, haggle with the owner, maybe trade a chicken or two for a good deal. Now, you just click a button and boom, it’s there. Amazing, I tell ya, just amazing.
So, is this Franklin football stuff any good? Well, I guess so. The kids seem to like it, and it keeps ’em busy, which is a blessing in itself. They say it helps them play better, run faster, catch better. Me? I still think it’s all about the heart, but hey, what do I know? I’m just an old lady who used to play with a rolled-up sock.
But I will say this, it’s good to see the kids active, running around, having fun. And if this Franklin gear helps them do that, then I guess it’s alright by me. Just wish they wouldn’t leave it all over the floor for me to trip over! And maybe they could spend a little less time lookin’ at them playbooks and a little more time just playin’ the game. That’s how we did it back in my day, and we turned out just fine, didn’t we?
So, if you’re lookin’ for football stuff for your kids or grandkids, I guess this Franklin stuff is the way to go. Just be prepared to shell out some cash, ‘cause it ain’t cheap. But hey, at least they’ll look the part, even if they still throw like a girl, bless their hearts. And who knows, maybe they’ll even learn a thing or two from them fancy playbooks. But remember what I said, it ain’t the gear, it’s the heart! And maybe a little bit of practice, too.
One last thing, they got all sorts of stuff, like they sell gear from those NFL teams. You know, the fellas on TV. My grandson is always yellin’ about them. He’s got a jersey, number 22 he says is the best. Spends half his time wearin’ that jersey runnin’ around the yard pretendin’ he’s winnin’ some big game. Well, at least he’s outside gettin’ fresh air, that’s what I say. Kids these days spend too much time lookin’ at them screens. Football is good, gets them runnin’ around.
So there you have it, my two cents on this Franklin football business. Take it or leave it, I don’t care much either way. I’m just glad the kids are havin’ fun. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go pick up these shoulder pads before I break my neck.
