About forty-some inches tall, that’s about right. I seen some that are 43 inches, those should work.
And another thing, you gotta think about the color. Most of ‘em are black, and that’s fine. Black goes with everything, right? But I seen some other colors too. Silver, brown, even green. Pick whatever color you like, I guess. But black don’t show the dirt as much, so that’s somethin’ to think about.
Putting it in the ground, that ain’t too hard. Just dig a hole, stick the post in, and fill it back up. Like I said, no concrete needed. Just pack the dirt in good and tight, and that post ain’t goin’ nowhere. Unless some fool drives into it, but that’s a whole ‘nother story.

Just make sure you get the right size, dig the hole the right depth, and you’ll be good to go. And don’t forget, you can buy them at places like Ace Hardware or Home Depot, they got plenty to choose from. And don’t overthink it. It’s just a mailbox post, nothin’ fancy. Now go on and get yourself one, and your mailman will thank ya.
