That’s a fair bit of money, but I guess if you’re into hittin’ that little white ball around, it’s worth it. They let anyone play, too, not just them army fellas.

- It’s been around for a good long while, more than 20 years, they say. So, it ain’t some newfangled thing, it’s been there a while.
- And it ain’t just some dirt patch, mind you. They say it’s one of the good courses, real nice and all. Built it for the army officers, but they let other folks play too.
I heard tell it’s over on that Ramintra Road, in Bangkhen. If you’re lookin’ for it, that’s where you gotta go. They got all sorts of things there, not just golf. Hotels and stuff, if you’re comin’ from far away.
What’s it like playin’ there? Well, I wouldn’t know firsthand, like I said. But I heard it ain’t easy. They say it’s real pretty though, all green and nice. Makes you feel good just bein’ there, even if you ain’t hittin’ the ball so good.

Now, I heard of this other golf place way over yonder, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews. Been around since 1745! That’s older than my grandma! And then there’s this Chingford Golf Course, a public one, run by the city folks. Seems like golf is a popular thing, all over the world.
But this Royal Thai Army one, it sounds like a good place to spend a day, if you’re into that sort of thing. Pretty, good value, and open to everyone. Even an old gal like me could probably go watch, even if I can’t swing a club to save my life! So, if you’re lookin’ for a place to play some golf in Bangkok, give that Royal Thai Army Golf Course a try. Just don’t expect me to be your caddy!
