Alright, listen up y’all, let me tell ya ’bout this Sunbelt Basketball Championship thingy comin’ to Pensacola in 2025. Guess they like it here, or maybe Pensacola just got the best sweet tea, who knows? But hey, if they wanna keep comin’, let ’em come. Brings folks in, ya know? More folks means more business, and that ain’t a bad thing.
They sellin’ tickets and all that now, whole packages or just one game at a time, whatever tickles your fancy. If you wanna go watch, you gotta get yourself a ticket. Don’t go thinkin’ you can just waltz in there like you own the place, ’cause they ain’t gonna let ya. Got to pay to play, or in this case, pay to watch ’em play.
I tell ya, basketball ain’t my cup of tea, but my grandson, he loves it. Always runnin’ around dribblin’ a ball, even indoors! Drives me nuts sometimes, but whatcha gonna do? Kids these days, they got their own thing goin’ on. Maybe I’ll take him to see a game, might do him some good. He can see how them fellas and gals really do it.

I heard someone sayin’ somethin’ about New Orleans and Nassau. Maybe they playin’ games there too? Or maybe that’s just where they talkin’ ’bout the games. Honestly, I ain’t paid much attention. All I know is them basketball folks are comin’ to Pensacola and they gonna be here for a while.
