- They also got some other stuff, like the Davis Cup and the BJK Cups. I don’t rightly know what them are, but they sound important.
- And they got this TV channel, runs all day and night. They got folks talkin’ ’bout the game, and sometimes they even talk to the players themselves. That’s kinda neat.
- They show ya them outer courts too, the ones that ain’t the main show. So you can see more games, even if they ain’t the biggest ones.
What They Don’t Have
Now, here’s the kicker. They don’t got them Grand Slams. You know, the really, really big ones? Nope. They ain’t got ’em. Don’t ask me why, that’s just how it is. They also don’t show Davis Cup, Fed Cup, Laver Cup, Olympic Games, or them qualifying matches. And mostly no WTA matches, ‘cept for some from that United Cup thingy.
And get this, on that free channel, the T2 one, they only show the early games. Once it gets down to the important ones, like the semifinals, you gotta pay up or somethin’. It’s always about the money, ain’t it?
How to Watch This Tennis Channel
So, if you wanna watch, you gotta figure out how to get it. They got this thing called “Tennis TV,” where you can watch a bunch of games online. They say it’s got the most live tennis you can get anywhere, all them 1000 Masters, 500’s, 250’s. But like I said, no Grand Slams.
You can also get it on them streaming services, like that ATT TV NOW, Sling TV and Fubo. Seems like everything’s on them streamin’ things these days. You gotta pay for them too, nothin’s free, ya know?
And if you don’t got cable? Well, you can still watch. They say it’s on all them big livestreamin’ platforms, so you ain’t gotta have no cable box or nothin’. That’s good, ‘cause them cable bills are higher than a kite in a windstorm.
Some Folks Like It, Some Don’t
Now, some folks say they like this Tennis Channel. They say it’s good to keep up with all the tennis goin’ on. And some folks even use somethin’ called TC Plus and say they don’t miss the Tennis Channel much at all. But they also say that sometimes there ain’t no announcers on some of the matches, which is kinda weird. I like hearin’ them fellas talkin’ about the game, even if I don’t always understand what they’re sayin’.
The Bottom Line
So, the long and short of it is, this here Tennis Channel, it’s got a lot of tennis, but it ain’t got everything. If you wanna see all them big Grand Slam matches, you gotta look somewhere else. But if you want a whole lot of other tennis games, and you don’t mind payin’ a little, then it might be just the ticket for ya. It’s all about what you’re lookin’ for, and how much you’re willin’ to spend. That’s how it is with everything these days, ain’t it?
Just remember, whether you’re watching on TV or on your phone or whatever, watching tennis can be mighty excitin’. It’s fun to see them fellas hittin’ that little ball back and forth, and runnin’ all over the place. It’s a good way to pass the time, that’s for sure.
