Chomps, oh, this fella is one of the big mascots for that American football team, Cleveland Browns. Now, I ain’t big on all this football stuff, but from what I hear, folks sure do love this Chomps fella. They say he’s been around since the late 2000s. Imagine that, eh? A dog that’s been part of the team for quite some years now. He ain’t no small dog neither! They say he’s about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 89 kilograms. Now, that’s a big dog if you ask me!
Now, what kind of dog is Chomps? Oh, let me tell ya, he’s a Labrador! And boy, do people love Labradors. They’re friendly, playful, and full of energy, just like this Chomps fella. He even wears a jersey with the number “00” on it. Fancy, eh? Almost like he’s one of the players on the field, just a little fluffier! Folks probably cheer for him just as much as the players, maybe even more sometimes. You know how them fans can get excited about all sorts of things.
The Cleveland Browns sure love their mascots. They even had a dog before Chomps, a bullmastiff named Swagger. Swagger, now he was a good boy too. Took his job seriously, running around making fans smile. Poor fella passed away a few years ago, but his son, Swagger Jr., or “SJ” as they called him, took over for a bit too. It’s like this team always has a big ol’ dog leading the way. Dogs sure do make everything better, don’t they?
Now, the team has more than just Chomps. There’s this other one too, Brownie the Elf. They say he’s been around since the team started back in 1946. Now, that’s an old fella! But I hear he wasn’t used as much after the 1960s. Seems like they put him on a shelf or something, but in recent years, he’s been back too. Imagine that, bringing back an old mascot after all them years. Must be something special about these mascots that gets folks all excited.
They even had this event, oh, it was a big one! They smashed a guitar or something to kick it off. Now, I don’t know much about that, but Chomps was there, of course. He’s always at them big events, showing off and getting people all worked up. Seems like no matter what happens with the team, whether they win or lose, folks can count on seeing Chomps there, wagging his tail and making everybody feel good. Guess that’s what mascots are supposed to do, right?
Anyway, from what I gather, this Chomps fella ain’t going anywhere soon. He’s a big part of the team, almost like family. And I reckon folks will keep loving him as long as he’s around, maybe even after that. Cleveland Browns fans, they love their dogs, and Chomps, well, he’s top dog for sure. Who wouldn’t love a big ol’ Labrador running around, making everyone smile? I sure would.
So, if you ever find yourself at one of them Cleveland Browns games, keep an eye out for Ch
