The first decal I applied was on the front. I positioned it right in the center, above the headlights. Then I started putting them on the sides. I applied the decals slowly, one by one. After applying, it is essential to smooth out any bubbles or wrinkles, and make sure the decals are firmly stuck. I tried my best to follow the lines of the cart to make them look integrated.
After putting on all the decals, my golf cart looked like a whole different beast! It’s got this cool, custom vibe now that really stands out.
I’ve been driving it around the neighborhood, and let me tell you, people notice. Got a few “Nice cart!” comments already, which is pretty sweet.
Honestly, the whole decal thing was easier than I thought it would be. It’s a fun weekend project if you’re looking to spice up your golf cart. Just make sure you do your research, pick a design you really love. And don’t be afraid to get your hands a little dirty. It’s all part of the fun.
Later, I thought about adding some LED headlights and taillights to make it look even cooler at night. I figured that since I already made it look good, why not make it functional and safe for evening rides too? These lights not only look awesome but also make the cart more visible, which is a big plus.
Also, I discovered that wrapping the cart with a custom design is another option. It’s generally cheaper than a full paint job, which is great if you’re on a budget like me. I decided to stick with the decals for now, but it’s nice to know there are other ways to customize the look.
