Connect with Jennifer Little: Networking and Collaboration

Alright, so, you wanna know about this Jennifer Little, huh? Well, lemme tell ya what I gathered. It ain’t easy stuff, this city folk business, but I done my best to make sense of it.

First off, seems like this Jennifer, she’s a real busybody. Always doin’ somethin’, that one. Been workin’ for ages, more’n ten years they say, in somethin’ called “event and project management.” Now, I ain’t no fancy city slicker, but sounds to me like she plans things. You know, like those big parties they have in the city, or maybe gettin’ a new buildin’ up. She’s the one makin’ sure it all goes smooth, I reckon. She’s a real go-getter, this Jennifer.

They also say she’s good at “community engagement.” That just means she talks to folks, gets ’em involved. Like when the church needs a new roof, and you go around gettin’ everyone to chip in. She does that, but on a bigger scale, I guess. Probably with them fancy city folks who wear suits and drink coffee that costs more than a whole bag of flour.

  • Heard she went to some fancy school, Harvard somethin’ or other. Sounds expensive.
  • Works in all sorts of places too. Seen somethin’ about a university in Canada, Victoria somethin’. She was doin’ the talkin’ for them, tellin’ folks how great the school is. Marketin’, they call it.
  • And then there’s somethin’ about “Air Policy” and “Transport Canada”. Sounds highfalutin to me, probably has to do with them flyin’ machines and makin’ sure they don’t bump into each other.

Now, they talk about her bein’ a “strategic and supportive leader.” That’s just a fancy way of sayin’ she knows what she’s doin’ and helps other folks do their jobs better. Like a good foreman on a farm, makin’ sure everyone’s pullin’ their weight and knowin’ what needs doin’. She’s probably good at tellin’ folks what to do, but in a nice way, so they don’t get their feathers ruffled.

Seems like she’s always learnin’ too. They got somethin’ called “networking opportunities” where she meets up with other folks who do the same kinda work. They swap stories, learn from each other. It’s like when us ladies get together at the church social and share recipes, but with more talk about money and business, I s’pose. Always good to keep learnin’, no matter how old you get.

And they mention “practical takeaways.” That’s just fancy talk for learnin’ somethin’ useful. Like learnin’ how to fix a fence so the cows don’t get out. She learns stuff she can use right away, to make her work better. She ain’t just sittin’ around, she’s gettin’ things done.

She’s also part of some group, an “association” they call it. Sounds like them clubs they have in town, where folks with the same interests get together. They help each other out, share tips and such. It’s good to have folks you can count on, I always say.

This Jennifer, she’s all over the place too. Seen Boston, Toronto, Victoria in Canada… Must be nice to travel so much. Me, I ain’t never been further than the next county, but good for her, I say. She’s makin’ somethin’ of herself, that’s for sure.

So, that’s what I know about Jennifer Little. A hard worker, always learnin’, and good at gettin’ folks to work together. She might be a city gal, with her fancy words and highfalutin jobs, but underneath it all, she sounds like a good egg. Reminds me a bit of my eldest granddaughter, always on the go, always trying to better herself. Hard work and a good heart, that’s what it takes to make something of yourself in this world. And this Jennifer, well, she seems to have both.

Now, I gotta go feed the chickens. This city talk made me hungry.
