Alright, so you wanna know about them CDG Tennis Classic Garmentory shoes, huh? I tell ya, these city folks got some fancy names for things. Sounds like somethin’ my grandson would wear, always spendin’ money on them fancy clothes.
Well, from what I gather, these shoes, they’re made by some fancy company called Comme des Garçons. Never heard of ‘em myself, but I reckon they make some good stuff if people are payin’ so much for it. And they team up with Nike, now that’s a name I do know. My other grandson, he’s always wearin’ them Nike shoes, says they make him run faster. Hmph, kids these days.
So, these Tennis Classic shoes, they look pretty plain to me. Mostly black or white, not much fancy colorin’. But I hear that’s the style, they call it “monochromatic” or somethin’. Just means one color, I guess. They say it’s “leather,” you know, like from a cow. Seems like good strong stuff, but I bet it gets hot in the summer. My old leather boots sure do.

And some other place called Flight Club. Sounds like a place where birds hang out, but I bet it ain’t. And GOAT, too. What’s with these names? Can’t they just call it “Bob’s Shoes” or somethin’ easy to remember?
And the price? Lordy, these shoes cost a pretty penny! I heard someone sayin’ somethin’ about $160. That’s more than I spend on groceries for a whole week! You could buy a whole lot of beans and potatoes for that much money. But I guess some folks got money to burn.
They started sellin’ these shoes back in 2023, around October or November. And I hear they got some clothes to go with ‘em, too. Jackets and such. But I ain’t seen ‘em myself, just hearin’ things from the neighbors.
They make ‘em over in China, you know. Everything’s made over there these days. Used to be we made everything right here in America, but times have changed, I guess. Can’t say if that makes ‘em good or bad, just sayin’.
These shoes are for both men and women, I think. They call it “unisex” or somethin’. So, if you got the money and you like that plain look, I guess you could go get yourself a pair. Me? I’ll stick to my good ol’ comfortable shoes. They ain’t fancy, but they get me where I need to go. And that’s all that matters, ain’t it?
I also heard they got some FW23 season shoes, I don’t know what that means, but it sounds important for people who want to buy these shoes. It looks like they sold a lot already so I don’t know if you are going to find them easily.
