And of course, you can always find ’em online, on that Amazon thing, though I ain’t never used it myself. My grandson, he’s always ordering stuff online, says it’s easier. Maybe he’s right, maybe he’s not. I like going to the store myself, seein’ what I’m gettin’ with my own eyes.
How to choose a size 4 basketball
So how do you pick out a good one? Well, first off, make sure it feels good in your hand, or in your kid’s hand, I should say. Make sure it’s not too heavy or too light. Bounce it a few times, see if it bounces straight. And check the stitching, make sure it’s not comin’ apart. You don’t want to buy a basketball that’s gonna fall apart after a few games, that’s for sure.
Taking care of a size 4 basketball
And once you got your basketball, you gotta take care of it. Don’t leave it outside in the rain or the sun, it’ll ruin it. If it gets dirty, wipe it off with a damp cloth. And if it gets a little flat, pump it up with some air. You know, just common sense stuff. Treat it right, and it’ll last you a good long while. My grandson’s got one that’s almost two years old, he plays with it all the time, still looks pretty good.
