Okay, so, let me tell you about my latest obsession: basketball shooting shirts. I’ve always been a huge basketball fan, and recently I decided to get more serious about my own game. So naturally, I started with the gear, right?

There’s this one for the Oregon Ducks, a women’s shirt, for 35 dollars. And they’ve got a bunch of college teams—Pitt, Baylor, UConn, you name it. I didn’t find it in store, but I found a number that is 54+6, it is too large for me.
I also found that other places sell them too, not just Nike. You can get long-sleeve, half-sleeve, whatever you like. And they have them for adults and kids. Some places even let you customize them, which is pretty cool.
Speaking of custom, I read that Cisco (yeah, the tech company) can make custom shooting shirts. I guess they do more than just routers! And then there’s this place, Epic Sports, that has a ton of sports gear, including these cotton graphic tees. I checked out their basketball section, of course.
I dug a little deeper into the whole jersey number thing. Turns out, players pick their numbers for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes it’s a family thing, sometimes it’s about the team’s history, or even just what the team tells them to wear.
Anyways, after all this searching, I finally decided on a simple Nike shooting shirt. Nothing too flashy, just a classic design. I wore it to the court the other day, and man, it felt great. I swear my shots were falling more consistently. It has the number 3 on it, which means small forward. Could be just in my head, but hey, I’ll take it!
So yeah, that’s my shooting shirt story. It might seem like a small thing, but having the right gear really does make a difference.
