Play at Hutton Golf Arizona: Here is What to Expect. Course Conditions and Amenities!
Okay, so I decided to check out the golfing scene in Arizona, specifically at Hutton Golf. I’d heard some good things, and being a bit of a golf nut, I figured, why not? So, I hopped online, found their website, and started poking around.
Booking My Tee Time
First thing I needed to do was book a tee time. They had this online booking thing, or you could use some app. I just used their website ’cause that’s what I usually do. It was pretty straightforward, select a date, time, how many players – the usual stuff.
- Look for availability: They had two courses, so I had to pick which one I wanted.
- Choose a time: I went for a morning slot ’cause it gets hot later.
- Confirm booking: Filled in my details, paid the green fee, and boom, I was booked.
Arrival and Check-in
Got to the course, and the place looked pretty swanky. They really take care of the place. I went inside to check in. They call it an “easy golf check-in” thing which was alright I guess.
- Find the pro shop: This was easy enough, just followed the signs.
- Check in at the counter: Told them my name, showed my confirmation email, and got my scorecard.
- Grab a cart: They had these nice golf carts, pretty comfortable.
Playing the Course
I ended up playing the Links course. This course was designed by some PGA TOUR champion, Tom Lehman, or something. Heard it was a bit challenging, and yeah, it was no walk in the park. Lots of rolling fairways and these pristine lakes.
- Tee off on the first: Hit a decent drive, felt good to get started.
- Navigate the course: Some holes were pretty tricky, had to think about my shots.
- Enjoy the scenery: The views were amazing, real lush and green, despite being in Arizona.
After the Round
After I finished up, I grabbed a drink at the clubhouse. They had this shop there too, with all kinds of golf gear and clothes. Pretty standard stuff to be honest.
- Return the cart: Drove it back to the designated area.
- Head to the clubhouse: Nice place to relax and cool off.
- Browse the pro shop: Checked out some of the gear, didn’t buy anything though, cause prices were a bit much.
Overall, it was a solid day of golf. The course was in great shape, the staff was friendly, and the whole experience was pretty top-notch. If you’re ever in Phoenix and looking for a place to play, Hutton Golf is worth checking out. Just be prepared to pay a bit more than your average public course, but I guess you get what you pay for, right?
