So, I’ve been getting really into rugby lately, and like any good enthusiast, I decided to dive headfirst into the world of rugby kit design. It’s been a wild ride, let me tell you.
First things first, I needed a way to design the kit. Now, I’m no graphic designer, and I certainly don’t have the fancy software that professionals use. But that’s where the internet comes in handy, right? I did a bit of digging, and guess what I stumbled upon? A rugby kit builder! Seriously, these things exist! It’s like those online games where you get to dress up your character, but for rugby kits.
I started playing around with it, and boy, was it fun. There were so many options to choose from. I spent hours just trying out different color combinations. Do I go with the classic red and white, or maybe something a bit more adventurous like blue and yellow? It was tough, man! And then there are the patterns. Stripes, hoops, solid colors, you name it. I was like a kid in a candy store, except the candy was virtual rugby gear.
- First, I picked out the jersey.
- Then came the shorts.
- And of course, I couldn’t forget the socks!
Getting the right shade of blue for the jersey was a real struggle. I mean you can use a tool to move the slider to the color you like, but it is really hard to get the perfect color! I wanted it to be just right, not too dark, not too light. It’s amazing how many shades of blue there actually are.
Finally, the Kit Comes Together
After what felt like days, I finally had a kit that I was happy with. A beautiful blue jersey with white stripes, solid black shorts, and some snazzy striped socks to match. It was a thing of beauty, if I do say so myself. I even added a little team logo that I whipped up. It felt so good to see it all come together. It wasn’t just a virtual design anymore; it felt like something real, something I could almost wear onto the field. Okay, maybe I’m getting a bit carried away, but it was a blast creating it.
