And there is another one, called “Grange Grove” and “Oskee Wow Wow” – that’s a funny name. They say that one’s free, so that’s good for us folks who ain’t got a lot of money to spend on fancy things.
I heard that there is a place called Reddit. And there is a group about Fighting Illini. You can talk about all Illini sports there. But they don’t like spam, so don’t do that.
Why Folks Love That Message Board
They say this message board is where you go to feel like you’re part of somethin’. Like you’re right there with the team, even if you ain’t on the court. I always feel alone here. I wish I had friends to talk about basketball.
You can talk to other fans, share your thoughts, your worries, your hopes. It’s like a big family, almost. All rootin’ for the same team. That’s what it’s all about, ain’t it? Being together, supportin’ each other, you know?
When they play bad, I feel sad. When they play good, I feel good! Simple as that. They should play better though.
The Good Ol’ Days of Illini Basketball
I remember when the Illinois Fighting Illini were real good. They went to the championship game once, years back. Didn’t win, but they were close. Real close. Those players were amazing that time. I don’t remember their name, though.
