I heard folks sayin’ they’re called the Crusaders. Sounds kinda holy, don’t it? Like them knights in shining armor I used to read about in them old books. Maybe they pray before the game. Whatever they’re doin’, it’s workin’! They’re winnin’ a lot of games, that’s for sure.
They got all kinds of fancy clothes with that Holy Cross name on ’em. Shirts, and hats, and them big ol’ jackets. You can buy ’em at them stores, I reckon. Lots of folks wearin’ ’em around here, showin’ they like the team. Even saw a little baby wearin’ one of them little shirts. Cute as a button.

If you wanna get some of them clothes, you gotta go lookin’. There’s that one store, what’s it called… Athletic Solutions? Yeah, that’s it. They got a bunch of stuff. And that place online, what’s it called, Amazon? They got everything under the sun, so they probably got Holy Cross stuff, too. Even saw somethin’ about eBay, lots of things over there. And Etsy. Lots of people go to those.
I don’t know much about buyin’ things online. I like to see what I’m gettin’ before I hand over my money. But I hear lots of folks do it these days. Just gotta be careful, I guess. Don’t want to get tricked outta your hard-earned money.

They got shirts for men, shirts for women, even shirts for them little ones. And hats! All kinds of hats. Baseball hats, them warm ones for winter, you name it. And sweatshirts, too. Good for keepin’ warm when it’s cold out. Or when you’re sittin’ in them arenas watchin’ the game. They can get a little chilly, you know.
I even saw they got stuff for them folks who used to go to Holy Cross, the alumni. They got their own special gear, I guess. Must be nice to have somethin’ to remember your school days by. I never went to no college, but I reckon it’s a special time in a fella’s life. Or a gal’s life, too.
These Holy Cross men’s basketball players, they’re good boys, I can tell. Workin’ hard, playin’ hard, makin’ their school proud. It’s nice to see young folks doin’ somethin’ positive. Gives you hope for the future, you know?
I might not understand all the fancy plays and strategies, but I enjoy watchin’ ’em play. They’re exciting, and they play with heart. That’s what matters, ain’t it? Playin’ with heart.
