But they got all kinds, new and used, or as they say “discounted”, whatever that means. And they’ll even ship it to ya for free, which is nice, I guess. And it stuck, I guess. Even now, when them gals are sweatin’ and runnin’ all over the place, they’re still wearin’ white. Though, I reckon it ain’t so easy to keep clean when you’re doin’ all that. I seen stains on them sometimes, even on TV.
And let me tell you, these tennis dresses ain’t just for tennis no more. Them young’uns are wearin’ ’em everywhere! To the store, to the park, even just to hang out. They call it “athleisure” or somethin’ fancy like that. It’s like wearin’ your workout clothes all the time, but makin’ it fashion. I don’t quite get it, but to each their own, I always say. They are just skirts with shorts underneath, what they call them, skorts?
These tennis skirts and dresses, or skorts as they call them, they are functional for running and playing, but also cute enough to wear just about anywhere. They got shorts underneath, like I said, so you don’t have to worry about nothin’ showin’. And they come in all sorts of styles, from plain to fancy. Some even got them little cutouts in the back, which I don’t quite understand, seems like it’d get in the way of playin’ tennis, but what do I know?
So, if you’re lookin’ for a white tennis dress, you got plenty of options. Just be prepared to spend a little money, ’cause them things ain’t cheap. And remember, you don’t have to play tennis to wear one. You can just wear it to look cute and feel comfy. Though, I still think it’s a bit silly to wear a tennis dress if you ain’t playin’ tennis. But that’s just me, I’m old-fashioned, I guess.
Now, some folks say golf dresses and tennis dresses are the same. But I don’t think so. They might look alike at first glance, but they ain’t the same. Golf dresses are different, I reckon. They probably got different pockets or somethin’. I ain’t never played golf, so I can’t say for sure. But I know what I see, and tennis dresses are tennis dresses, and golf dresses are golf dresses. That’s all there is to it.
Anyways, that’s all I gotta say about white tennis dresses. They’re white, they’re for tennis (mostly), and they’re kinda pricey. But if you want one, go ahead and get yourself one. Just don’t blame me if you end up with grass stains all over it. And don’t forget to get the ones with the shorts, you don’t want to be showing more than you should!
