You know, they say you can just go down there and play. It’s public, like the park itself. Just bring your own rackets and balls, I guess. Or maybe you can borrow ’em, I dunno. Never tried it myself. Too busy with my gardenin’, you see.
I heard tell there’s other stuff at this Washington Park too. Basketball courts, horseshoe pits, baseball fields, even a playground for the little ‘uns. And a lake! With ducks and such. Sounds like a nice place to spend a day, even if you ain’t gonna play no tennis.

They got these other Washington Parks too, I hear. One in Atlanta, with tennis courts too. And another one way up in Portland. And Denver! Seems like everyone wants a Washington Park with tennis courts. Must be somethin’ special about that name, I reckon.
Anyways, if you like tennis, or you just wanna watch folks playin’ tennis, Washington Park sounds like a good place to go. Just head on down there and see for yourself. Maybe I’ll even go watch sometime, if I can find the time between waterin’ my tomatoes and chasin’ them squirrels outta my bird feeder.
