Ya know, things ain’t always easy, especially when you’re tryin’ to get rid of stuff or find somethin’ you need. But lemme tell ya, there’s this thing called the Orr Auction in Rugby, ND, and it’s a real help to folks ’round here.
Now, I ain’t too good with all them fancy words, but they got this fall farm consignment auction, see? That means you can take your stuff, like your old tractor or whatever, and they’ll sell it for ya. And if you need somethin’, well, you can go there and buy it too!
They take things Tuesdays through Fridays, from 9 in the mornin’ to 4 in the afternoon. Starts September 11th. If you got questions, you can call this fella Mike, at 701-208-0164. He’s a good fella, helps ya out. They say textin’ is better, but I ain’t got one of them fancy phones.
Where’s it at?
It’s right on Highway 2, easy to find. Can’t miss it. Good spot, lots of room for all the stuff.
What can you buy there?
- Farm stuff, like tractors and tools.
- Ranch equipment, they said somethin’ ’bout hundreds of lots.
- Lots of other things, ya never know what you’ll find!
Now, they do this online too, somethin’ they call timed online. I don’t rightly understand it, but it means you can bid on stuff from your home, I guess. But they say you gotta read the instructions, somethin’ important. Don’t just go biddin’ on things without knowin’ what you’re doin’.
If you need help, or wanna go see the stuff before you bid, you can go to their office. It’s open Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. They’ll show you around, answer your questions.
This Orr Auction, it’s a good thing for the community. Helps people buy and sell things, gets rid of stuff you don’t need, helps ya find things you do. And it’s all done fair and square. They’re good people, these Orr Auction folks. They’re honest, treat everyone right.
