- Waiting for the next chapter: This is the hard part! Now I have to wait a whole week for the next one. I checked a calendar, marked down March 29th. I’ll be setting a reminder for sure, maybe even several, just so I don’t forget.
Then, the chapter’s over. Just like that. It’s a cliffhanger, of course, they always are. I’m left there, staring at the screen, already impatient for the next one. I even went back to the first few chapters, just to refresh my memory on some details. Chapters 1 and 2, those were the days, setting up the whole story.
I also checked out this “Kaiju No. 8 Wiki”. It’s got a ton of info, character details, plot points, all that good stuff. It’s a nice way to kill time while waiting for the next release. I went down this rabbit hole, reading about all the different characters and their backstories. It’s like a whole universe in there.
In the end, I decided to listen to some music to get my mind off the wait. I found this “Now That’s What I Call Music! 104” CD compilation. It’s from 2019, but hey, good music is good music, right? I bought it and it’s on repeat now.
So yeah, that’s been my experience with “Kaiju No. 8” chapter 104. It’s a mix of excitement, a bit of frustration from the wait, and a whole lot of appreciation for the art and story.
