2024 Fairmont State Football Roster: Meet the Fighting Falcons Players
Alright, so you wanna know about this Fairmont State football, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it’s a bunch of young fellas runnin’ around on a field, chasin’ a ball. Sounds kinda silly when ya put it like that, but folks get real worked up about it.

- And Glenville State beat ’em too, 17 to 14. Close one, that was.
See, they got this whole schedule, games lined up one after another. You can find it all on that ESPN thing, if you’re tech-savvy like them youngsters. Me? I just hear about it from the neighbors or when the TV’s on too loud.
Now, they got these fellas, the players, a whole “roster” they call it. Just a big list of names, far as I can tell. Young kids, most of ’em. Probably eat like horses, runnin’ around like that all day. My Bessie used to eat a lot too, but she was a cow, not a football player. Different kinda eatin’, I reckon.
Heard tell they got a new somethin’ or other, a new chapter they called it. The president of the school and that athletic fella, Greg somethin’, they were talkin’ about it. Sounded important, all official-like. Probably means they’re changin’ somethin’, maybe gettin’ new uniforms or somethin’. Lord knows them young fellas like to look flashy.
And then there’s all this bettin’ talk. Saw somethin’ flashin’ on the screen, “QuinnBet” it said. Somethin’ about depositin’ money and bettin’. Folks bettin’ on these games, can ya believe it? Gamblin’, that’s what it is. My old man used to say, “Only bet on a sure thing, and there ain’t no such thing as a sure thing.” He was a smart fella, my old man.
So, that’s the gist of it, as far as I can tell. Fairmont State football. A bunch of young fellas runnin’, jumpin’, and tryin’ to get that ball across a line. Folks cheer, folks yell, folks bet money. Seems like a whole lotta fuss over a pigskin, if you ask me. But hey, it keeps ’em entertained, I guess. Better than sittin’ around doin’ nothin’, like some folks I know.
